Inget allvarligt. Bara för mycket vinnarskalle. Häll kallt vatten på honom i dag.
Nu ser vi fram mot nästa match. Inget kan stoppa oss nu.
It will be tough not to make a few Barcelona comparisons in this game analysis. Expressions like “moment of clarity” and “WTF has happened to Cordovan?” come to mind. The way Cordovan Digital totally dominated Stendahls last Thursday lack comparison… at least in our book. That the game “only” ended in a 4-1 victory can only be ascribed to some sort of act of mercy on the part of the Cordovan forwards. The lasting impression was a Superpower’s assault and battery, and strategic dominance in organisation and resources towards some defenceless banana republic consisting of a jumble of cast-off rice farmers with rudimentary working peashooters. In other words, slaughter.
Now, at Cordovan we’re not used to this kind of pitch supremacy and do not think for one minute that this dream will continue. In fact, it’s with great trepidation we look forward to our next game versus TEAM, where we anticipate a good beating back to reality and our usual confused out-of-position whimsical manifestation. But it was fun while it lasted.
Today the football season started and the first match was between Cordovan FC and Daddy.
This match was a Cordovan match right from the beginning since Daddy was missing one guy in their team and had to start the match with -1 person. But in the second half the “real” goolie turned up.
Anyway, the atletic guys at Cordovan FC did a great job and won the game with 3 - 0.
The goals were made by Russell Clark, Magnus Lindau and Stefan Jakobsson
We’re now looking forward to the next game meeting GP on Thursday.
Victory is ours! At last the Cordovan team picked up three points in a gripping encounter against Stendahls on Göteborg’s Heden pitch this morning… (more…)
Last night was our “summer activity” night here at Cordovan Digital, and this year we embarked on a pentathlon of games up at Liseberg - Scandinavia’s largest funfair.
If you want to see live watersport action from our own Art Director Linus Löfgren, then I suggest you read more…
As promised, here’s Linus in action with the water ball event…
Well, I don’t want to turn this blog into an unoffical Cordovan United FC blog BUT… we were robbed! Today we were robbed! It was daylight robbery, and the culprits were Hundra - one of Sweden’s leading advertising agencies.
In an exciting match, Hundra ran out winners by 6 goals to 4, despite Cordovan taking the lead. Good performance by all our lads though, and an excellent performance by Hundra’s number 13 who was playing centre forward. My sources tell me that he’s a leading goalscorer in Gothenburg League Division 2. I’m not bitter though.
The next match (and final match before the summer season) is against Göteborgs Post newspaper team on Heden next Tuesday, 10th of June… I predict that we’ll give them a spanking!
Well, the Cordovan United football team goes from… ahem… strength to… ahem… strength… with a stunning 3-0 victory over acclaimed advertising agency Forsman & Bodenfors. If truth be told, the match versus Forsman was cancelled due to a lack of players (on their part. We have a 45-strong squad) so we were awarded the 3 points…
Prior to this, we’d managed only 1 draw and 3 defeats.
